Duet A

Duet A is an Interactive Imagination Composition designed for two participants, shifting the focus from group constellations to the intimate dynamics of a shared experience.

Emerging from the larger framework of Room C, Duet A distills the collective experience into a smaller, more adaptable format. This reduction invites participants to engage deeply with one another, exploring how the rooms we inhabit shape our identities—like a current flowing through every space we’ve encountered, tracing back to the essence of our childhood room.

As the two visitors navigate the experience, their imaginations intertwine, dissolving the boundaries between self and other. This evolving exchange leads to unexpected moments of connection, transforming common environments into sites of quiet wonder and reflection.

Duet A unfolds over approximately 15 minutes, featuring spoken word recordings in English, delivered through headphones. The piece offers an intimate meditation on memory, identity, and the unseen currents that guide us through life’s shifting spaces.
