Intervention C is an Imagination Choreography designed for two visitors, featuring two distinct audio tracks that guide participants through a shared yet individual experience.
White and red lines on the floor and wall form an abstracted reflection of the light construction in ISELP, originally created by artist Richard Venlet. This intervention reimagines elements from Duet B, replacing its crossing pathways with architectural abstractions that merge the physical space with the mental landscape of participants. The work explores how inert bodies interact with the surrounding architecture, blending spatial awareness with internal reflection.
Set in the entrance hall of ISELP, Intervention C disrupts the ordinary flow of visitors, requiring those entering or exiting to pass through the composition. This interaction subtly transforms the space into a performative site where movement, balance, and disruption shape the evolving experience.
By intertwining the architecture, bodies, and mental activity of those present, Intervention C seeks to dissolve the boundaries between the physical and the imagined, creating a fleeting but transformative encounter with space.
